Detected by
index.html at the top of the project (and nothing that matches another runtime first). The general rules are in Deploying.
Build
- No build step on our side: build your site (Vite, Astro, Hugo, Next export) and upload the output folder.
- The files are copied as they are; systemi.toml and .git are left out.
- Static sites run without a container, so they never sleep and wake instantly.
Start
Nothing to start: / serves index.html and every other file answers at its own path.
Example
the zip
index.html
about.html
assets/app-3f9c.js
assets/app-3f9c.css
images/logo.svgFrameworks
| Framework | Start command or setting |
|---|---|
| Vite / React / Vue | upload dist/ |
| Astro | upload dist/ |
| Hugo | upload public/ |
| Next.js | output: "export", upload out/ |
Good to know
- Zip the contents of the output folder, or the folder itself; a single top folder is fine.
- A static site can call your other systemi apps or the DB API from the browser; never put a write key in public JavaScript.
